Description: Created from datasets retrieved from local, statewide, and nationwide agencies, this GIS dataset locates point data for the regionally critical assets throughout the City of Sarasota. The dataset was compiled by a team of GIS Analysts, engineers, and local government agencies. The team reviewed the compiled datasets using the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) standards; to identify potential data gaps preceding any analysis. Using FDEP standards, the team ensured all data accounted for. The team organized the data first by asset type; then by four critical asset groups - Critical Community and Emergency Facilities; Critical Infrastructure; Natural, Cultural, and Historical Resources; or Transportation and Evacuation Routes. To maintain consistency and to assist in the compilation of a statewide critical asset database, the team aligned the data using a geodatabase schema provided by the FDEP in April of 2023. By creating new attribute fields, the numerous datasets gathered (see below) have consistent attributes regardless of source data. The final attribute table is simplified to show only the relevant, and complete, fields needed for reporting and analysis. See below for definitions of the attribute fields included in the data layer. The asterisk denotes FDEP required fields.*Asset: Specific Asset Feature, If Applicable (i.e. Sewer Manhole, Stormwater Outfall, etc.). Not listed in F.S. 380.093, but part of the provided GDB schema.*Name: Specific asset name, if applicable (i.e. Airport Name, Bridge Name, Unique ID, etc.).*EntityName: Government entity who provided or is in charge of maintaining the dataset (i.e. County, Municipality, etc.). *Asset_Elev: Elevation of the asset, if available (NAVD88 US Feet).*Own_Maintn: Entity who owns or is in charge of maintaining the asset. *Asset_Type = Statutory asset type (i.e., airports, bridges, roadways, marinas, etc.) defined in F.S. 380.093.*Asset_Group: Statutory asset group (i.e., transportation and evacuation route, critical infrastructure, critical community and emergency facilities, etc.) defined in F.S. 380.093.*ContainsSensitiveData: Should be "Yes" if entity explicitly stated dataset to be sensitive. Yes/No*RestrictedPublicDisclosure: Should be "Yes" if entity explicitly stated dataset not intended for public distribution. Yes/No*AssetUniqueID: Unique identifier for the asset.*AssetSizeCapacity: Size of asset.*Notes: Relevant comments for the asset.Location: General location of asset.Original_ID: Unique identifier from the source dataset.Address: Street address of asset.City: City asset is located in.ZipCode: ZipCode asset is located in.UseBldgFP: Denotes if a building footprint was used to establish the asset elevation.ElevationSource: Source of asset elevationT_D2023: Depth of tidal flooding based on Mean Higher High Water (MHHW) for the year 2023.T_D2040IL: Depth of tidal flooding based on MHHW for the
